Our Honeymoon Voyage

After the ceremony, after the congratulations, after the well-wishes
and the laughter, we climbed aboard our first adventure together.
The Neu-Hindenburg.
Not a warship.
Not a research vessel.
THE luxury aether-liner – built for dreamers, explorers, and
those who believe the journey should be just as extraordinary
as the destination.
She was majestic.

A floating palace, drifting through the Aether.
We booked one of the five Imperator Suites.
Too extravagant, according to sense.
Exactly right, according to us.
Each day, after breakfast in the Panorama Lounge we spent a few hours in the fitness hall to stay in shape.
After which we visited the Spa and experienced the most wonderful relaxation and beauty program one could wish for.
We spent hours in one of the observation domes, admiring the
crystal-clear views of the firmament and wondered about
all the worlds out there. Waiting to be explored.
Afternoons were for tea on the balcony of the Zeppelin Saloon.
Wrapped in Awether-silk and future dreams.

Christian’s Restaurant in the outer neceles offered the most
magnificent meals and every evening we looked forward to the
gourmet surprise the chef would offer that day.
During the whole vojage not one course was repeated.
Each evening, the Veedol Theatre came to life – grand balls,
dancing, music and laughter, that echoed through the
magnificent room.
And in the night the Travolta Disco offered dancing soarees
under the stars.
Days were for wonder.
Nights were for us.

It was the first of countless vojages.
But none felt quite like this one.
